The Vamps 2015 World Tour.

First of all I want to say a HUGE thank you to my best friend Zoe for getting me this amazing Christmas present. I love love love music so going to see an incredible band like The Vamps is always going to make me happy, even if I was one of the eldest people in there that wasn't looking after children!

Anyway, despite being a "boy band" with a teenage fanclub there not really boy band-y at all, infact they're super cool and extremely talented. Now when I say talented I don't just mean they put on a flashy light and dance show and sang good song, though they did that of course, I mean they write songs, produce songs, sing, play guitar, play drums and play piano too! As well as singing their own incredible songs last night they also did some fantastic covers from Taylor Swift to Sum 41.

Supporting The Vamps was Luke Friend from X-factor who has a truly amazing voice, The Tide, a Californian boy band who were really good as well and very entertaining and Union J who's music I don't really listen to but did a fantastic live performance.

Though we were in seating for this concert, we did stand through pretty much the whole thing so I'm glad I chose the chunky heels that I did. I teamed them with my ripped Topshop jeans which I of course turned up to look that little bit more stylish and also to show off the slimness of my ankles in contrast with the chunky heels. I then went for a very simple baggy black tee which I dressed up with my gold collar necklace and River Island fedora hat with gold buckle detailing. The hat finished of this outfit perfectly and also hid where my hair had stuck to my head from getting too hot!

I had such a fun time and really want to see them in concert again.

Mothers Day Dinner & Drinks.

Last weekend I went out for a lovely meal in West Bridgford with my boyfriend and his family followed by a few drinks just me and him so I wanted an outfit that was smart and family appropriate yet still looked dressy for the drinks afterwards.. after all it was a Saturday night.

I love shirts, and this fitted blue one from Newlook is one of my favourites, it's very smart but if styled correctly can take you from work, to day, to night. For this particular occassion I chose to only fasten two of the buttons so that it hung at the bottom and wasn't buttoned up to high which would have made it look officey. Of course I didn't want it to be to revealing so I added a lace bralet underneath wearing that as actually part of the outfit not just my underwear.

To dress up the shirt I wore this gorgeous silver collar necklace which I picked up from a charity shop and then wore my black coated skinny jeans and black strappy heeled sandals.

Super Easy Egg Muffins #JTH

You have to try these! They're so easy to make and can be eaten for breakfast, lunch or dinner, hot or cold. Personally I like eating them the next day when they've been in the fridge over night, but they still taste just as good when they're fresh out the oven.

The best thing about these egg muffins, apart from how easy they are to make, is the fact you can personalise them and experiment with them as much as you like by adding peppers, ham, tomatoes, herbs, bacon, salt, pepper, cheese, anything you want really. You also then get to choose how healthy they're going to be based on the ingredients you add.

---------------------------------------

So, here is the recipe for ten egg muffins:

#1 Pre-heat the oven. Approx 180 degrees, gas mark 6/7.

#2 Whisk 5 eggs

#3 Add your chosen ingredients, or save to top.

#4 Pour your mixture into the cake tins, approx 3/4 of the way up (If your tray isn't non-stick, you may need to lightly grease with either margerine, olive/sunflower oil or fry light spray.

#5 Top with chosen ingredients.

#6 Cook in the oven for around 20-30minutes until risen, golden and no longer runny in the middle.

#7 ENJOY.

---------------------------------------

I love the fact I can make these the day before and create lots of different flavours. It means that I can keep healthy without having to compromise on taste. On this particular picture I have mixed my eggs with pepper and sage then topped them with mature cheddar. I enjoyed four of these with some chips for brunch and then saved the rest for my lunch the next day.

What flavour muffins would you make?

Flowers For My Valentine.

Now valentines day isn't something me and Freddie really consider that important, but we do however think it's a good excuse to get dressed up and go out for some food and a few drinks.

For this occasion I chose to wear this navy floral shift dress from Newlook which I have only worn once. The pattern and fit makes this dress suitable for the day time whilst the length dresses it up. I also chose it because I thought the floral design was perfect for valentines day.

I teamed the dress my Newlook camel dress coat as the longer length works well with the shorter dress, adding sophistication to the outfit. The coat also makes the dress look more suitable for this time of year. I then went with a bock heeled shoe boot as I wanted the outfit to go from daytime to nighttime. These were the boots I picked up from Next Clearance, down from £55 to £9. It was the first time I have worn them and they are so comfy. I can't believe how lucky I was to find them.

I accessorised this outfit with my Aldo bag, Marc Jacobs watch and Micheal Kors bracelet. You can dress up any outfit with the right accessories. For my hair I went with soft romantic waves, styled using GHD straighteners and then held with just a few section clips and a spritz of  Silverkrin.

We had such an amazing evening and I finally got to try the Pizza at ZizziIt was incredible. As was the Fonduta Formaggi, we had for our starter. Our view during drinks was of the Nottingham eye and on the way home my wonderful boyfriend treated me to my favourite flowers (I don't do big bouquets) and this super cute jar of miniature liquorice allsorts from The Treat Kitchen.

What did you do this Valentines Day? I'd love to know.

Happy Valentines Day.

As it is Valentines Day I thought I would do a special post about beautiful bras. A pretty bra can do so much for your confidence, just like any good outfit. It can make you feel sexy, attractive, beautiful. Unfortunately most pretty bras don't provide the best support or they do, but then you can see every lacy lump and bump through your top.

Now I love to buy pretty undies but sometimes it seems a waste to spend so much money on something I will hardly wear, as you can guarantee I'm going to be living in that super smooth strapless push up bra, that is practically invisible under any outfit. Not very sexy but neither is having all your bra on show.

Now I'm sure we can all admit we have a gorgeous, yet slightly useless, bra stashed away somewhere that has hardly ever been worn. So today I have decided to share with you a few of my prettiest bras that wont cost you a fortune. Some completely useless, others not. I hope you enjoy.

Right. I love this H&M bra, it's pretty, sexy... everything you could want for Valentines day, but it literally cannot be worn under anything! It's the frilliest bra ever! But for under £15 I just couldn't say no! I guess I'll just have to buy some really big, chunky knit jumpers to wear over it.

Now this little red number from Primark was only £6 I think and its actually an alright bra. The lace is really pretty but not too bumpy that you can see it through everything , however I would still avoid wearing it under sheer tops or really tight tops. This bra also has some padding giving you that little bit extra oomph. I will say however that it doesn't have the best fit so I wouldn't advise wearing it for an occasion when you will be rushing around or dancing, but overall a gorgeous bra that could be worn day to day.

The fit, the style, the pattern, the price. Asda really got it right with this stunning bra for only £12! It has some slight padding which with the fit and shape of the bra works wonders on you cleavage. The bra is comfy and supportive whilst still looking super sexy on. I don't think it looks cheap whatsoever. This is the one, out of all my pretty bras, that I actually wear quite a lot. Unfortunately the ruched straps and lace trim still make it hard to wear under any strappy, sheer or tight tops.

Finally is this tassled Topshop triangle bra. No support. No padding. Nothing. But lets face it, this is one sexy looking bra! Luckily for us though, you can pick these up pretty cheap. Maybe it has something to do with the lack of fabric? Anyway, if you don't require any support these triangle bras are actually pretty decent. I tend to wear it under jumpers or baggy black tees, as the lace and straps are very smooth so you can barely see it. This bra is so comfy and you can hardly tell it's there. I would advise avoiding ones with tassels though as it gets quite tangled and makes it harder to hide under tighter fitting tops.

I hope you liked this post and weather you're single or in a relationship have a Happy Valentines Day and treat yourself to a gorgeous yet affordable bra!

Whats your favourite style of bra?

How To.. Brows.

I used Sleek Makeups Brow Kit in Dark £8.49 @ Boots.

Your eyebrows are your best accessory, they help shape your face and frame your eyes so you should take care in how you present them. Perfect brows should be based around the natural shape, size and colouring, ideally starting from in line with the centre of your nostils and ending diagonally from the edge of your nose past the corner of your eye.

Here I have created a step by step guide to get those brows you've always wanted as unfortunately we can't all be blessed with beautiful big brows.

1) Using an old and clean mascara brush, brush your eyebrows up and out.

2) Take your tweezers and see where your brows should start and end and then pluck any stray hairs.

3) Using the angled brush in the brown wax create a smooth sweeping line from inside to out just below or on the bottom line of brow.

4) If your eyebrows aren't very full do the same again along the top of your brows, ensureing you create a nice finish.

5) Still using the angled brush and wax coat the hairs from 1/4 of the way in and fill in any gaps. Ensure to use the brush in outwards strokes following the way the hairs are growing.

6) Very carefully and gently in upward strokes fill the inner part of your eyebrows. The inner part should be lighter than the outside.

7) Taking the rounded brush dust the brown powder over your brows carefully, only a small amount is needed.

8) Using a light matte eyeshadow or white eyeliner, highlight under the arch of your brow, be sure to blend it well.

Brush up & out - line underneath - line above & fill outer edge - carefully fill inner brow and highlight arch.

I hope this was helpful! What are your tips for getting the best brows?
